{Google Hangout} Salmon

Christine from Cook The Story and I talked with Maureen C. Berry, a blogger, food writer, and seafood specialist the other evening. Our topic was Salmon. You may be asking yourself: why would a non-salmon eater want to chat about salmon? Well, because I’m always up for learning and although I haven’t quite acquired the taste of salmon I’m always open to trying it prepared various ways. Just recently, I gobbled up Julie’s Smoked Salmon Rangoons maybe because they were disguised by the delightful taste of cream cheese or just because that “fishy fish” taste I’ve tasted in past years wasn’t prominent in this dish. In any event… I’m willing to try salmon again. And of course, it will definitely be wild after learning so much from our talk with Maureen!

    Great video! I love salmon and we have it fairly often. I’m headed to Alaska in a couple of weeks with the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute and we’ll be talking a lot about sustainability, etc. It’s such a interesting & important topic!
