Small Plates at Carrabba’s Italian Grill

Thank you Carrabba’s for sponsoring today’s post. As always all opinions are my own.

Carrabba's Small Plates

Last Monday, I had the chance to have a rare date night out with my husband and two of our closest friends. We enjoyed our own little small plates party at Carrabba’s Italian Grill!

Carrabba's Small Plates with my Husband!

On top of the already amazing appetizer’s Carrabba’s has they have also added what they call Small Plates to the menu. They have six new dishes featuring inventive flavors and each plate is under $6 and under 600 calories! The Small Plates are available during lunch and dinner, too!

Sangria at Carrabba's Italian Grill

Every Tuesday you can enjoy any 3 small plates for just $12. Pair them with Carrabba’s house red or white wine for just $5 a glass. This  Tasting Tuesdays promotion is only offered for dinner at participating locations.

Bruschette Siciliani

Bruschette Siciliani – Oven–baked ciabatta bread served with diced tomatoes, fresh basil, oregano, red onions and kalamata olives marinated in olive oil and red wine vinegar then topped with ricotta salata. So good and has a nice tangy taste to it!

Grilled Asparagus with Prosciutto

Grilled Asparagus with Prosciutto – Wood-grilled asparagus wrapped in prosciutto and fontina, drizzled with balsamic glaze. This by far was one of our favorites! I think we all could have enjoyed 2-3 of these Small Plates individually. I’m definitely going to attempt to make this at home.

Mozzarella Rustica

Mozzarella Rustica – Crispy bites of mozzarella and ricotta with Italian herbs and panko breadcrumbs served with our marinara sauce. I was expecting just fried mozzarella but this was so much more than just that. These little bites of cheesy goodness were amazing.

Meatballs & Ricotta
Meatballs & Ricotta – Simmered in our pomodoro sauce with ricotta and romano cheese. We loved Small Plate last time and we knew everyone would love this dish so we ordered quite a few!
Three-Cheese & Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms
Three-Cheese & Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms – Stuffed with sausage, spinach, ricotta, romano, mozzarella and Italian breadcrumbs served over our tomato cream sauce. We ordered these during our last visit, and my husband wasn’t too crazy for them; however, we gave them a try again this time and he loved them. The mushrooms were a bit smaller this go around and that’s why he felt like he loved them more.
Italian Lettuce Wraps
Italian Lettuce Wraps – Wood-grilled chicken tossed with vegetables and ricotta salata in our Mediterranean lemon vinaigrette. Served over romaine lettuce, drizzled with a port wine reduction. They also serve this with a side of chili oil that is part sweet and part spicy. So so good. Like suprisingly good. Everyone loved these lettuce wraps.
 Dessert at Carrabba's Italian Grill
Of course, we saved room for dessert. We tried the limited edition Limoncello Bread Pudding, Tiramisú, and the Brûlée Ricotta Cheesecake!
