Strawberry Overnight Oats

Thank you Stonyfield Organic and Walmart for sponsoring today’s recipe.

Strawberry Overnight Oats
No time in the morning for breakfast? Overnight oats are my go-to solution. I almost always make a few jars to start my week. This ensures that I’ll be properly fueled to start the day. I’m a busy mom of two. I’m also an entrepreneur that works from home. All while I take care of two young children, a husband, a house and a busy schedule. I’m exhausted just talking about how busy I am. Having breakfast is a must and that’s why I love my recipe Strawberry yogurt overnight oats.

 Strawberry Overnight Oats
If you’ve been reading Katie’s Cucina for a while you know that I’m am advocate for organic food. Recently, Walmart has begun carrying a variety of organic products, including a wide variety of Stonyfield yogurt! Lucky for me because a brand new “high-end” swanky Walmart just opened right down the road from me. Seriously, our Walmart is the biggest–most advanced in the country. My organic heart pitter patters with all the options I now have so close to home! I can find almost all the flavors of the 4-pack Whole Milk Yogurt Pouches for my son. I can also find the 6-pack YoKids sMOOthies that my son goes crazy for! I can also pick up my quarts of Stonyfield yogurt too while I shop.
Strawberry Overnight Oats

I can grab all the ingredients for this recipe at Walmart which is great for easy shopping with two little ones. When Florida strawberries are in season I grab them–currently, it’s California strawberry season. Big plump berries. So a few strawberries will fill the jar!

Strawberry Overnight OatsI chop up all the strawberries and place them to the side. Then, I like to prepare the oats in a big bowl. I mix the rolled oats, Barlean’s Flax, Chia, Coconut Blend, Stonyfield Lowfat Strawberry yogurt, organic milk, and honey. To make the overnight oat jars I place a thin layer of strawberries at the bottom of two mason jars. Then layer a few spoonfuls of oatmeal into each glass. I add another layer of fresh strawberries, followed by the remaining oatmeal. I like to top with additional strawberries and then I place in the refrigerator overnight, and enjoy the next morning.

Strawberry Overnight Oats

I find that the strawberries only last a good two to three days in the jars that’s why I only make two at a time! I like to keep the berries as fresh as possible! So if your a busy person like me, head to Walmart and grab all the ingredients you need for my easy recipe for strawberry overnight oats!
