Healthy Snack Tips

Do you like to “graze”? You know… like snack throughout the day? Did you know that some say this is a healthier way to eat then 3 large meals each day. I am a “snacker” for sure.

This is what a day of mine looks like:

6:30 am: coffee

7:30 am: banana in the car

9:00 am: yogurt w/ granola

12:00 pm: lunch (usually homemade soup and salad with apple slices or fruit salad)

3:00 pm: 100 caloria bag of popcorn

6:00 pm: dinner

See, I snack a lot which isn’t a bad thing as long as I  make healthy decisions on what I’m snack on. “Oversnacking” can sabotage your healthy eating and cause you to gain weight!

I am a huge fan of chef/author Ellie Krieger. On her cooking show she always shows deliciuos and healthy recipes that include snacks that can be made quickly!
