I created this side dish a while back. I didn’t want to eat steamed vegetables every time I made an Asian dish, so I decided to zing it up and make up my own side! This could easily be a vegetarians main dish if your entertaining and having an Asian themed dinner party! There are times when this is all I’d like to eat!
Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 15 minutes
1. In a medium saute pan place sesame oil and garlic in pan. Sautee for one minute.
2. Add red bell pepper, green beans, and black pepper stir well. Cook on medium-high with lid on for 5 minutes. Stir and cover for an additional 5 minutes.
3. Sprinkle sesame seeds to the dish and cook for a few minutes uncovered or until desired doneness. Serve hot or cold!
Side suggestions: Sesame Chicken Skewers, White/Brown Rice
