Learn how to make the classic Everything Bagel Seasoning with staple spices you’ll find in your own pantry!

Everything Bagel Seasoning

If their is one flavor of bagel I love in this world it’s the everything bagel. I love the seasoning and anytime I see the seasoning on food other than a bagel I almost always get it. So far I’ve seen crackers with everything seasoning, bagel chips, and cheddar cheese from Cabot (it’s amazing—go buy it now). After visiting a local spice store over the Christmas holiday I saw they were selling the seasoning. I almost picked up the tiny 2 tablespoon serving size for a whopping $7. That’s when it occurred to me that I could just make this seasoning at home. My pantry is well stocked with spices and the only thing I needed was the garlic flakes (which I purchased for $4).

Once I had my garlic flakes, I pulled up the picture of the ingredients I took in the spice store and got to work. It took me less than 5 minutes to make this everything bagel seasoning.

I stored it in a glass jar and now I can add it to any food I want… I know I’m a bit crazy, but it’s oh-so good. I’ve found myself mixing the everything seasoning into cream cheese and spreading on plain bagels. I’ve also been making everything bagel popcorn… that recipe is coming to the blog soon! It’s so tasty!

Sounds Awesome! I’ll have to make some myself. Rachael Ray actually has a recipe for Everything Crusted Chicken Rolls and it is amazing and would be perfect for this mix!
