Ingredients
- Skinless Boneless Chicken Breast – I prefer a chicken breast, but for more flavor you can use boneless skinless chicken thighs.
- Hamburger Buns – Any type of burger bun will do.
- Olive oil – The oil is needed to coat the chicken before grilling to prevent it from sticking to the grill.
- Avocado – You will need 1 avocado for this recipe.
- Garlic & Herb Seasoning – You can find this seasoning in the spice aisle at the grocery store I prefer the McCormick Brand.
- Bacon – Whip up bacon fast by using the Air Fryer.
- Leafy Greens – I like to use romaine or butter lettuce. But any type of green will work.
- Ranch Dressing – You can use your favorite ranch dressing or make my homemade Herbed Buttermilk Ranch Dressing.
- Tomato – 1 tomato thinly sliced should be enough for this recipe.
Directions
Preheat the grill on high heat (about 500 degrees Fahrenheit).
While the grill preheats, rinse and pat-dry the chicken breast. Cut the chicken in half. Drizzle olive oil on top of the chicken breast and sprinkle with the garlic & herb seasoning.
Reduce the heat to low, then clean the grill. Spray with cooking spray and then place the chicken on the grill. Grill for 15 minutes, turning once. Grill until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
While the chicken cooks, slice the tomatoes, avocados, and lettuce. Place on a tray. During the last minute of cooking, place the hamburger buns on the grill in indirect heat.
Remove the burger buns from the grill, place the chicken breast on each bun. Top with 1 tablespoon ranch, a slice of tomato, lettuce, and avocado. Repeat, until all the chicken sandwiches are done. Enjoy immediately.
