Cheeseburger sliders are the perfect addition to any game day menu or even for a quick and delicious lunch or dinner. Consisting of ground beef, spices, cheese, and sweet King’s Hawaiian rolls they are baked to perfection and serve 12 or maybe just 4 hungry adults!
If you love cheeseburgers you are going to love this easy cheeseburger sliders recipe. Instead of taking the time to form 12 individual tiny beef patties you simply cook a pound of ground beef until it’s done. Then you assemble one giant cheeseburger that will get backed in the oven until golden and the cheese has melted. Once the sliders are done baking you simply cut them and serve!
My family loves this easy recipe whether it’s for a quick dinner or when I serve them on game day as we all hover around the tv cheering on our favorite sports team.
Ingredients
- Ground Beef – Just one pound will do.
- Seasonings – A variety of seasonings will be used for the meat mixture and topping of the buns. You will need garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, Montreal steak seasoning, dried onion flakes, Worcestershire sauce and sesame seeds.
- Butter – A few tablespoons of butter are needed to coat the tops of the rolls.
- Rolls – For these sliders I love to use a 12 piece package of King’s Hawaiian Rolls.
- Cheese – I like to use slices of colby jack cheese and then shredded cheddar cheeses that goes on the top of the buns.
How to Make Sliders
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Begin to brown the ground beef in a large skillet. Add in the spices and Worcestershire. Break up the meat into bite size pieces. After cooking for about 10 minutes and the beef is fully cooked through, drain off the excess fat.
Place an entire 12 pack package of King’s Hawaiian Rolls on a cutting board. Carefully, cut through the middle of the solid 12 pack of rolls. Then layer with the colby jack cheese. Top with ground beef and sprinkle with the shredded cheddar cheese. Place the top onto the beef and cheese.
Melt butter and begin to brush on top of the rolls. Then sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bread is golden in color. Carefully remove from the oven and cut into individual sliders. Serve immediately.
