Ahi Tuna Steaks

SESAME GINGER

INGREDIENTS

Tuna, salt, pepper, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, sugar, sesame seeds.

WHISK

Mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, and ginger.

SEASON AHI TUNA

Rinse and pat dry tuna steaks. Season with salt & pepper on both sides.

SEAR

Heat skillet on high and sear tuna steaks for two minutes on each side.

During the last minute of cooking, pour half the sauce on top of the steaks.

SLICE & PLATE

Thinly slice the steak, plate, and pour half of the remaining sauce on top.

GARNISH

Finish the tuna steaks by sprinkling with both black & white sesame seeds.
