Beets with the stems removed and a cup of water.
Prep beets, then place them on a wire rack inside the instant pot. Add a cup of water to the pot, then set to steam.
Once the beets are done, force pressure out of the Instant Pot and carefully remove the lid.
Remove the beets and place them in a bowl of ice water.
Peel the skin off the beet. Once skin is removed they are ready to be consumed.
