Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces canned crushed pineapple
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 2 cups Strawberries stems removed + more for garnish
  • 3 scoops Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 2 tablespoons Whipped Cream

Instructions

  • In a blender combine the crushed pineapple, milk, strawberries, and vanilla ice cream until pureed about 30 seconds.
  • Pour into two small glasses or one large glass. Top with whipped cream and a fresh strawberry for garnish. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Frozen Fruit - Feel free to use all frozen fruit for this recipe; frozen strawberries and pineapples. You will want to thaw the fruit partially in the microwave or let sit out on the counter for 1 hour before blending. Just know you may need to add a little extra milk in order to thin out the milkshake so it isn't too thick.
  • Thicker Milkshake - Want a thicker milkshake? Omit the milk from the blender.
  • Sonic Pineapple Milkshake - If you want to make a copycat version of the fast food chain, Sonic's Pineapple Milkshake simply omit the strawberries and add in 2 tablespoons pineapple syrup to the blender along with a mix of fresh and canned or frozen pineapples.
