Learn how easy it is to make this Broiled Scallops Recipe that is mixed with a lemon butter sauce and topped with delicious buttery bread crumbs. A fancy easy seafood dinner made in 20 minutes!
In a small bowl, mix the bread crumbs with the Old Bay Seasoning.
Lightly season the scallops with salt and pepper. Coat the scallops in the bread crumb seasoning mixture.
In a large nonstick skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of the oil on medium heat. Add half of the scallops and cook over medium heat until browned, about 3 -5 minutes. Transfer the scallops to individual oven-safe ramekins (or one large oven-safe dish). Wipe the skillet clean. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil and cook the remaining scallops. Transfer the cooked scallops to the ramekins.
Add the lemon juice and water to the skillet, bring to a boil and cook over moderate heat, scraping up the browned bits on the bottom of the skillet. Remove from the heat and swirl in the butter, 1 tablespoon at a time and add the parsley.
Pour the butter sauce over each ramekin. Sprinkle a dash of freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top of the scallops. Place in the oven for 5-10 minutes until cheese has melted.
