Football season is officially here. And what better way to kick off football season then to share a grilling recipe for my grilled buffalo chicken burgers.
In a large bowl, mix together the first 5 seasonings, then add in the ground chicken. Pour the buffalo sauce on top followed by the bread crumbs.
Begin to mix using a wooden spoon until all the ingredients are incorporated. Divide into 4 patties and place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Preheat the grill to high heat. Reduce the heat to low, spray with cooking spray on the grill grates. Grill the chicken burgers for 8 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
During the last 2 minutes of cooking, place the bleu cheese crumbles on top of the burgers and let the cheese begin to melt. You'll also want to place the King's Hawaiian Burger Buns on the top rack of the grill to begin toasting.
Remove the buns from the grill, place the burgers on each bun bottom. Top each burger with additional buffalo sauce if desired followed by bleu cheese dressing, a slice of lettuce and tomato. Enjoy immediately.
Notes
Try making sliders! Turn these 4 burgers into 12 sliders and grab a package of Hawaiian rolls.
