Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 2 stalks celery minced
  • ½ cup onion minced
  • ½ cup pecans chopped
  • ½ cup dried cherries
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley
  • 2-½ cups turkey broth
  • 1 14 oz package of Herb Seasoned Classic Stuffing Mix I used Pepperidge Farm brand

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a large stock pot, melt butter on high. Reduce to medium heat and add in the celery and onions. Cook for 5 minutes until soft. Add in the chopped pecans, dried cherries, mix and cook for 2 additional minutes toasting the pecans. Add in the turkey broth. Bring to a boil then remove off the heat. Add in the parsley and and stuffing mix.
  • Mix well until all the stuffing mix has absorbed the broth. Place stuffing into an oven safe dish. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Serve immediately.
