Cheeseburger sliders are the perfect addition to any game day menu or even for a quick and delicious lunch or dinner. Consisting of ground beef, spices, cheese, and sweet King's Hawaiian rolls they are baked to perfection and serve 12 or maybe just 4 hungry adults!
Begin to brown the ground beef in a large skillet. Add in the spices and Worcestershire. Break up the meat into bite size pieces. After cooking for about 10 minutes and the beef is fully cooked through, drain off the excess fat.
1 pound ground beef, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon black pepper, ½ teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons Montreal Steak Seasoning, 1 tablespoon Dried Onion Flakes, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
Place an entire 12 pack package of King's Hawaiian Rolls on a cutting board. Carefully, cut through the middle of the solid 12 pack of rolls. Then layer with the colby jack cheese. Top with ground beef and sprinkle with the shredded cheddar cheese. Place the top onto the beef and cheese.
12 King's Hawaiian Rolls, 4 slices Colby Jack Cheese, 1 cup Shredded Cheddar
Melt butter and begin to brush on top of the rolls. Then sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bread is golden in color. Carefully remove from the oven and cut into individual sliders. Serve immediately.
Notes
Make Ahead - You can make the meat ahead of time. Then when you are ready to make the sliders you can just reheat the meat, assemble, and bake.
Cheeses - The sky is the limit as to what cheese you can top on these delectable mini burgers. My family loves colby jack and cheddar; however, you could use pepperjack, gouda, even provolone for a milder flavor.
Doubling Recipe - You can easily double this recipe if you are planning to serve this for a crowd. I like to make this buy using 2 - 12 count packs of King's Hawaiian Rolls.
