This homemade Pesto Pasta with Peas makes for a delicious meat free dinner or pasta side dish. Made with just 5 ingredients and in 20 minutes it's sure to be a new family favorite.

17 ounces Strozzapreti Pasta 1 cup frozen green peas thawed 4 oz pesto ½ cup heavy cream ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
In a large pot, cook pasta according to directions. Reserve ½ cup of starchy pasta water to the side, then drain.
Place half of the pesto in the pot, add cooked pasta, thawed green peas, and the remainder of the pesto. Begin to mix then add in the starchy water.
Place heat on low, add in heavy cream and stir until well incorporated and hot. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and serve immediately!
Serving Suggestion - This pasta side dish can be served hot or chilled in the refrigerator and served cold!
