French Vanilla Ice Cream

HOMEMADE

INGREDIENTS

Heavy whipping cream, eggs, sugar, half and half, vanilla bean, and salt.

HEAT CREAM

Heat the half and half until just warm but not bubbling. 

EGGS & SUGAR

Mix the eggs and sugar until smooth.

HEAT & MIX

Heat the heavy cream then slowly mix in to the KitchenAid Stand Mixer.

CHILL

Chill the batter for at least 8 hours or over night until cold.

CHURN

Churn the cold batter in a KitchenAid Stand Mixer for 20 minutes.

FREEZE

Transfer the soft ice cream to a container and freeze until solid.
