Equipment

  • Grill

Ingredients

  • 4 Peaches
  • 2 cups Heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • Caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to high heat. While the grill is pre-heating wash peaches and cut them in half (removing the pits from the peach center).
  • Once grill has reached to temperature (around 500 degrees) place peaches flesh (flat) side down on the grill and cook for 5-10 minutes until grill marks have formed on peaches. Remove peaches from the grill and set aside.
  • Place 2 peach halves on a plate, a dollop of whipped cream, and a generous drizzle of caramel sauce.

How to Make Homemade Whipped Cream

  • In a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment. Pour the heavy whipping cream and beat on medium-low or until the cream starts to slightly thicken. Then add 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar and slowly bring the speed to high. Whip in mixer for 2-3 minutes or until cream is thick (when the whisk is removed from the bowl the cream should stick right to the whisk).

Notes

  • Leftovers - Here is how you should store the leftover grilled peaches and whipped cream.
    • Grilled Peaches - Place the leftover grilled peaches in a container and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
    • Whipped Cream - If you happen to have any leftover whipped cream store the whipped cream in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • Time Saver - If you want to save time you can opt to use store bought whipped cream and caramel sauce!
  • Use up Grilled Peaches - You can use the leftover grilled peaches sliced into salads, pureed into salad dressing, or even diced into salsa.
