If you love the flavor of guava juice you are going to love my Guava Cocktail recipe. Made with just 4 ingredients this pitcher will quench 4-6 adults thirst. I have confidence that anyone can put this together. I like being able to put together a pitcher of a drink so that you don’t have to mix each drink individually.

If you are entertaining that is the last thing you want to do. Mix one big pitcher and you are good to go until it’s empty. Then, you’ll have to mix another. I’m pretty sure you will find yourself needing to mix a few pitchers. Whether you plan to be sipping this poolside or toasting into the New Year it’s versatile and can be made year round.

FAQS

What does guava taste like?

Guava has a very unique and sweet taste. Many people think it tastes like a cross between a strawberry and a pear.

What does guava go well with?

Guava goes well with a wide variety of fruits like kiwi, lemon, lime, mango, orange, papaya, pear, pineapple, and strawberries.

Is guava bitter or sweet?

Guava is a naturally sweet fruit when ripe. But when it’s not ripe they are sour. If the guava is ripe, it will be soft, juicy and sweet. Unripe guavas are not soft to touch and are harder than ripe guava. They are also sourer, and they taste more on the acidic

What liquor is good with guava juice?

I love to use champagne or brut but you could also use rum and a splash of orange liqueur like Cointreau.

Here are a few of my favorite tips and tricks when making this delicious guava cocktail.

  • Strawberry Guava Juice – Make sure the juice is chilled prior to serving. If you can’t find the strawberry guava combo plain guava juice works too.
  • Sugar Rim – If you can find strawberry sugar that makes a nice addition
  • Recipe Yields – This recipe yields 48 ounces of drink. Which gives 4 people a 12 ounce drink or 6 people an 8 ounce drink.
  • Non Alcoholic – Make this drink without alcohol by using sparkling soda water instead of the Brut.
