It only takes 4 spices to make pumpkin pie spice. Yep that’s it and yet we spend a lot of money for just a small amount in the store. After making my own pumpkin pie spice I don’t think I’ll ever buy it in the store again. It just doesn’t make sense to me!

Ingredients for Pumpkin Spice
The four magical spices you need are: ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, and ground all spice. That’s all you need! Measure the spices (my OXO measuring spoons are my favorite), then mix it up and place it in an airtight container. I think it took me longer to find the spices than it did to make it! Since I had just finished my pumpkin pie spice I just poured my mix back into my existing pumpkin pie spice container. And now I have more for another day of baking!
