You can make it on a Sunday and then add it to a mini container each morning, or portion it out on Sunday so it’s an easy grab and go snack for the lunchbox each morning!
My son LOVES Greek yogurt and he also likes ranch dressing so the two go hand-in-hand in my book. I find that he will actually attempt to eat veggies if he has some sort of dip he likes! I made this for his “letter of the week” group the other week. Each mom takes a letter from the alphabet and we teach a lesson to the toddlers. My letter just so happened to be “Y”. Being a Stonyfield team captain this year I of course focused my snacks around yogurt! I couldn’t find yucca chips so instead we used pita chips, cucumber slices, and carrots to dip in our Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip. My son, of course, used the vegetables as his spoon to suck up all the tasty dip!
Make this Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip is super simple. I always have all the spices and herbs on hand in my cabinet and I almost always have a tub of Greek yogurt in my refrigerator–making this dip a go-to. It dawned on me when I was making this for the kids that I had never blogged about this recipe. The time has finally come that I’m finally sharing it with the world. I like to use whole milk Greek yogurt for this dip since I find that the whole milk Greek yogurt is a lot less tangier than the traditional low or no-fat Greek yogurts. Even my husband who is not a fan of Greek yogurt likes this dip and we even use this as a salad dressing! Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip
- 2 cups Stonyfield Organic Plain Whole Milk Greek Yogurt
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried onion flakes
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients until well blended. Serve immediately or store in an air-tight container for up to 1 week.
