How to Make Pimento Cheese Dip

First, preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a KitchenAid stand mixer combine the cream cheese, 2 cups grated cheddar, and mayonnaise. Mix until well incorporated. Stir in the chopped pimento, green onion, salt, pepper, paprika, and hot sauce. Mix until well incorporated.

Spray an oven safe dish with cooking spray. Place the pimento cheese dip mixture in the dish. Top with a tablespoon of shredded cheddar. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes until golden and bubbly. Serve with crusty bread, crackers, or chips!

Yes, you can eat pimento cheese hot or cold. Both ways are delicious.

I am making this! I recently fell in love with pimento cheese dip and have yet to actually make it. Thank you for sharing. I never registered for a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer and kind of regret it! It’d be a lot better than using my hand-held potato masher.

This recipe is really easy to make (and you can use a hand-held mixer since you don’t have the stand mixer). I too have recently started to enjoy pimento cheese dip. It’s great on bread or crackers and makes for great leftovers (you can totally eat it cold too).

Sweet Katie….every home cook needs a good piece of cast iron. Whether it is a skillet or a cast iron Dutch oven, home cooks need the secret ingredient to seriously delicious biscuits—cast iron! Will definitely be trying the pimento spread at girls night this week. Love reading your posts! Thank you for posting the recipe!

The glass mixing bowl for the kitchen aid–not that it really makes a difference but I think things taste better using the glass bowl verses the original one. 🙂
